1) Never unplug the computer while the computer is running. Perform your systems shutdown procedure first. (On Windows, Start, Shutdown, etc)
2) Never eat or drink next to the computer.
3) The computer will last longer if you leave it running as opposed to turning it off and on every time.
4) Never delete anything. Always move it or copy it somewhere else.
5) For every document you create or change you make, make sure you back it up by saving it to a usb drive.
6) If you drop your laptop, have your hard drive checked out by a data recovery professional.
7) Like the human body, the computer needs a regular checkup. Even though you can throw a computer in the garbage, your data is always important. By getting a checkup, you can prevent data loss.
